Amongst other things, lockdown has been an opportunity to crack on with some self-development hasn’t it?
One way to sneak it in is definitely through podcasts. You might even be considering getting your own message out there, now that those speaking engagements and group talks are cancelled.
Podcasts are great but I hate when they are rushed together and the listener isn’t considered enough over the speaker(s). Production, structure and engagement are always vital in any piece of audio. However, now more than ever, you need to be getting it right.
You can read my blog about 5 tips to consider to see what I mean. I’m editing podcasts right now where I’m really proud that the listener has been thought of intensely.
Podcasting is one of the best ways for your audience and customers to get to know your business AND YOU! It’s as intimate as it is cool. Never forget that person listening and assume they have a small thirst for what you have to offer, but could easily go look elsewhere. Welcome them in, don’t exclude them, make them part of it at regular opportunities.
