Recently I’ve begun hosting a series of virtual business luncheons for AMROS Promotions. In the old days (we’ll be calling them that soon!) we’d get together around 50-100 guests for a 3 course lunch with a sponsor and guest speaker.
Now, they all gather in virtual ZOOM room with a cuppa and watch a couple of talks from sponsors and a guest.
The first one with was with a local solicitors and cricket legend Matthew Hoggard MBE, who admitted it was HIS first time doing a virtual function like this.
I thought it best to make him comfortable and comment straight away on the giant towel in his background. It flowed from there and he was great at hosting his own Q&A with himself, from his basement.
I’d highly recommend Matthew as a speaker, especially after this function. We look forward to having Don Goodman, Mike Tindall and Gail Emms on future lunches!
